Resolutions

The regional resolutions below on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) were discussed and adopted by the Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO’s decision-making body in this region) and the United Nations General Assembly. The resolutions are centered on commitments to implementing the UN Political Declaration on Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases, progress made and scaling up action to this effect.
