A regional workshop on adolescent sexual and reproductive health research: translating research findings into action was held in Tunis, Tunisia, from 14 to 17 June 2010. The workshop was organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean and attended by 38 participants from 14 Member States, as well as from the American University of Beirut, International Planned Parenthood Federation, League of Arab States, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and staff from the Department of Reproductive Health and Research, WHO headquarters and the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean.
