Participants highlighted a need to revise the terms of reference in light of the upcoming lifting of the evacuation status of the United Nations presence in Libya.
It was also suggested that working sub-groups should be established, for example on reproductive health, nutrition and migrants, and that there be alignment with the humanitarian response plan.
It was felt that the forum should serve as an advocacy platform for health-related strategic plans, the essential package of services, and the adoption of a rights-based approach, thereby promoting the delivery of comprehensive integrated health services.
