In view of the current instability in Lebanon’s neighbouring countries, the risk of exposure to hazards has increased. WHO Lebanon is training health staff on the medical management of such exposures and the public health measures required to manage such risks.
Training sessions on the response to chemical, biological, and nuclear hazards have been developed by WHO, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health, and with the collaboration of the Syndicate of Hospitals in Lebanon and the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission.
