CEHA is currently evaluating and delineating its strategic work directions for 2014–2019. CEHA is re-examining its mandate, programmes and resources to better serve Member States in light of the traditional and emerging environmental health challenges and opportunities.
A regional environmental health strategic roadmap has been drafted based on available data of burden of disease; the WHO Global Programme of Work 2014–2019 and the Country Cooperation Strategies developed for the 22 countries of the Region. Experts from international, regional and national pertinent backgrounds will attend this important consultation to discuss and finalize this strategic roadmap for the Region.
